关于WM_TIMER消息的处理

求助关于WM_TIMER消息的处理
今天看了VC++编程的前面几章,我关于WM_TIMER消息不是很明白,
我在程序中SetTimer(hWnd,1,1000,NULL);然后在WndProc的消息处理语句中写
case WM_TIMER: ... 这后面的语句都不执行,
我看了关于WM_timer消息处理的资料,基本上都是用MFC写的,我用VC++就不知道怎么写了,
我又改成 SetTimer(hWnd,1,1000,TimerProc); 并写了TimerProc函数,还是不执行TimerProc函数中的代码,网上的资料说WM_timer消息会自动调用TimerProc这个函数的,但我这样写也不行,我具体应该怎么做呢?哪位高人指点一下。。
代码如下:
// test1.cpp : Defines the entry point for the application.

#include "stdafx.h"
#include "resource.h"

#define MAX_LOADSTRING 100

// Global Variables:
HINSTANCE hInst; // current instance
TCHAR szTitle[MAX_LOADSTRING]; // The title bar text
TCHAR szWindowClass[MAX_LOADSTRING]; // The title bar text

// Foward declarations of functions included in this code module:
ATOM MyRegisterClass(HINSTANCE hInstance);
BOOL InitInstance(HINSTANCE, int);
LRESULT CALLBACK WndProc(HWND, UINT, WPARAM, LPARAM);
LRESULT CALLBACK About(HWND, UINT, WPARAM, LPARAM);
void CALLBACK TimerProc ( HWND hwnd, UINT message, UINT iTimerID, DWORD dwTime);

int APIENTRY WinMain(HINSTANCE hInstance,
  HINSTANCE hPrevInstance,
  LPSTR lpCmdLine,
  int nCmdShow)
{
  // TODO: Place code here.
MSG msg;
HACCEL hAccelTable;

// Initialize global strings
LoadString(hInstance, IDS_APP_TITLE, szTitle, MAX_LOADSTRING);
LoadString(hInstance, IDC_TEST1, szWindowClass, MAX_LOADSTRING);
MyRegisterClass(hInstance);

// Perform application initialization:
if (!InitInstance (hInstance, nCmdShow))
{
return FALSE;
}

hAccelTable = LoadAccelerators(hInstance, (LPCTSTR)IDC_TEST1);

// Main message loop:
while (GetMessage(&msg, NULL, 0, 0))
{
if (!TranslateAccelerator(msg.hwnd, hAccelTable, &msg))
{
TranslateMessage(&msg);
DispatchMessage(&msg);
}
}

return msg.wParam;
}
